The (19-16) Indiana Fever enter Friday night missing several key players. Caitlin Clark remains sidelined with a groin injury, while Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson, and Aari McDonald are all out for the season with significant lower-body injuries.
Despite these setbacks, the Fever have a prime opportunity to challenge the league-best (28-7) Minnesota Lynx, who fell 75-73 to the Atlanta Dream on Thursday.
Minnesota, meanwhile, has some big roster decisions of their own. Superstar Napheesa Collier was upgraded to questionable and could make her first appearance since Aug. 2.
Additionally, Camryn Taylor’s second 7-day contract expired on Friday. Although she did not appear in any recent games during that contract period due to a coaching decision, the Lynx have signed her to a third and final 7-day contract on Friday.

On Aug. 8, the Lynx signed Camryn Taylor to her first 7-day contract after she had previously spent time with the organization during the 2024 and 2025 training camps.
After not making the opening night roster, Taylor most recently played in the Greek A1 Basketball League for Esperides Kallitheas, averaging an impressive 19.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in 31.6 minutes per game.
At just 25 years old, Taylor adds depth to the Lynx, who currently have 12 players on the roster—the maximum allowed. Minnesota has opted to maintain its roster, which has performed well all season long, but the team will need to make another decision regarding Taylor's future with the team in one week.

This is the final seven-day contact Taylor can sign with the Lynx, so a decision will have to be made following this seven-day span.
Over the next three days, the Lynx will face the Fever twice. For Indiana, this will be their first game since Sophie Cunningham suffered a torn MCL on Sunday, forcing head coach Stephanie White to make adjustments without four key players available at the guard position.
Veteran Odyssey Sims, who started against the Sun, is expected to see heavy minutes, while Lexie Hull and Kelsey Mitchell will continue to serve as pivotal contributors for Indiana, as they have all season.
