Enrique Freeman of the Timberwolves and Chris Manon of the Lakers have both been tendered qualifying offers, making them restricted free agents, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac (Twitter links).

Both players spent last season on two-way contracts with their respective teams. Their qualifying offers are equivalent to one-year, two-way deals and would include a modest partial guarantee (projected to be worth $91K).

Neither Freeman nor Manon played much at the NBA level in 2025/26. Freeman, a 25-year-old power forward, averaged 3.3 points and 2.5 rebounds in 9.3 minutes per game across four appearances, while Manon played 46 total minutes (5.1 MPG) in nine games.

The 50th pick in the 2024 draft, Freeman had a much larger role in the G League with the Iowa Wolves, averaging 16.5 PPG, 8.7 RPG and 2.4 APG on .542/.326/.728 shooting in 39 games (33.2 MPG). That was true of Manon as well — the 6’4″ wing, who went undrafted last year, averaged 11.6 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 2.5 APG, 2.1 SPG and 0.9 BPG on .511/.315/.737 shooting in 46 contests (26.9 MPG).

As expected, the Wolves also issued guard/forward Jaylen Clark a qualifying offer, Smith reports. The procedural move will ensure the team holds the right of first refusal on Clark, but the two sides have reportedly already agreed on a new three-year, $10MM contract.
