Would Bronny James Destroy Caitlin Clark?

The Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors played on Christmas Day, LeBron's guys topping Stephen Curry's guys by a 115-113 score ... all along putting all things Lakers in the spotlight.

As usual.

And if there is an opportunity to provide a holiday argument the whole family can enjoy? Let's debate who would win a game of one-on-one between Caitlin Clark and Bronny James. OK?

During a recent episode of the "Club 520 podcast," former Atlanta Hawks standout Jeff Teague offered his thoughts on WNBA players going up against NBA players.

This is a subject that has been around for decades, dating back to Ann Meyers and they Cheryl Swoopes, two of the greatest women hoopsters of all-time.

And here we are again, in part triggered by WNBA superstar A'ja Wilson claiming she could beat Josh Hart in a game of one-on-one.

Teague does not see such matchups quite that way.

"Caitlin would not score a point on Bronny, bro," Teague said. "She might not even get a shot off, bro. I swear to God, Bronny would destroy her. He would beat her 20-0."

Bronny is of course LeBron's son, a Lakers prospect working mostly in the G League. And Clark is the newest WNBA sensation, as a rookie setting records on the court and in attendance and TV ratings.

It would be a show, but ...

"He is 10 times more athletic than her," Teague said. "He can do everything better than her. She's a girl, bro."
