No NBA player will be under a bigger spotlight this season than Anthony Davis. The Lakers moved heaven and earth to acquire Davis over the summer, but the move did not leave the team with much depth. So when Davis recently injured his thumb, there was some trepidation in L.A. that the injury could linger into the season. Luckily for Davis and the Lakers, there was no ligament damage, and Davis was cleared in time to play in Wednesday night's preseason game against Golden State where he nearly put up a triple-double in 28 minutes of action. With LeBron's injury keeping L.A. out of the postseason last year, expectations in Laker-land are sky-high this season, but Davis will need to stay on the court if the Purple and Gold want to contend in a crowded Western Conference.
Which brings to today's quiz of the day. As of the start of 2019-20 season, the Los Angeles/Minneapolis Lakers franchise has sent a total of 31 players to the NBA All-Star Game. If things go right this season, Davis will be number 32. So with that in mind, how many of the previous 31 Lakers All-Stars can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
