Have we seen the last of Cam Newton in Carolina? The former MVP was able to suit up for only two games in 2019 due to a foot injury, and earlier this week the team placed him on injured reserve, ending his season and possibly his Panthers tenure. With backup Kyle Allen filling in admirably, Newton reportedly drew interest from QB-needy teams prior to the trade deadline, and a recent vague Instagram comment led to even more speculation that Newton might have played his last down as a Panther. If Cam does take his talents elsewhere next season, he will walk away as the only Panthers player to win an MVP and undoubtedly as the most important player in the franchise's 25-year history.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. Newton in his prime was a one-of-a-kind QB who could beat you by himself in the air or on the ground. He is one of just seven QBs to rush for 10 or more touchdowns in one season and the only one to do it twice. So with that in mind, how many of the NFL quarterbacks with the most rushing touchdowns in a season can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
