2020 may just be over two weeks old, but it's already been a year of reckoning for Major League Baseball.
On Monday, MLB and commissioner Rob Manfred came down hard on the Houston Astros for their elaborate sign-stealing scheme, including suspending general manager Jeffrey Luhnow and manager A.J. Hinch for one year. Astros owner Jim Crane fired both shortly after. The Red Sox didn't wait for Manfred's ruling before firing manager Alex Cora, who played a huge role in the controversy when he was Houston's bench coach. Now two of the more successful franchises from the 2010s begin the 2020s unexpectedly having to find new leaders for their respective club houses.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. The firings of Hinch and Cora mean that two of the last three World Series-winning managers are out of a job and possibly done with MLB altogether. Neither of their former team's wins will be vacated, however. So with that in mind, how many of the last managers to lead every MLB franchise to a World Series championship can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
