All offseason, Cam Newton was the free agent QB most in need of new home. Conversely, the New England Patriots were the team that most desperately needed a starting QB. On Sunday, the two sides finally came together on a one-year deal. The Pats clearly have no intention of tanking in 2020, even if Newton in Foxborough may not be the difference maker fans are expecting him to be, but if nothing else, the signing did take focus away from the other news New England made on Sunday.
Which brings us to today's quiz fo the day. In Newton, Bill Belichick will have something he's never had in New England: a dual-threat QB. In the Super Bowl era (1966 - present), 27 NFL quarterbacks have rushed for 2,000 or more yards over the course of their careers, including Cam who has the third-most rushing yards all-time among QBs. So with that in mind, how many of those 27 signal-callers can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
