Assuming the 2020 MLB season does actually begin this month, no team may have benefited more from the long layoff than the New York Yankees. Back in March, Yankee sluggers Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton were both expected to miss months of action. Now, with the delay, the team is hoping to have both in the Opening Day lineup. On top of that, James Paxton was also going to start the season on the shelf following surgery in February, but now he is also likely to be ready. With the Yanks reportedly starting the season facing the defending champion Washington Nationals on July 23, having three of the team's top weapons available will go a long way in helping the Bronx Bombers reach their lofty expectations for the 60-game season.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. With Judge and Stanton both missing significant portions of last season, the Yankees had to turn elsewhere in their lineup for power. So with that in mind, how many of the players who had the most home runs for every MLB team during the 2019 season can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
