The Heisman Trophy ceremony took place over the weekend, and for the first time ever an Alabama quarterback took home the award. Sophomore Bryce Young threw for 4,322 yards and 43 touchdowns with just four INTs while leading the Crimson Tide to a 12-1 record and the No. 1 overall ranking, making him the easy choice to take home the hardware. Young's win also gives Alabama back-to-back winners, a feat that had only happened four times prior. Young is also the third winner from Mater Dei High School, another record. With this historical W now down in the record books, the 20-year-old Young will now shift his focus to the Cincinnati Bearcats, who he and the Tide face on Dec. 31 in the CFP Semifinal.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. As the Heisman winner, Young's name will now live among the college football immortals. You'll probably also see him a Nissan commercial in the not-too-distant future. So with that in mind, how many Heisman winners since the 1961 season can you name in six minutes?
Good luck!
