There were times over the last 12 months when Oregon defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux was rumored to be the top overall selection in the 2022 NFL Draft. Instead, he slipped to the fifth slot, where the New York Giants were more than happy to take him. While Thibodeaux may be a bit bummed that he wasn't the No. 1 pick, playing in NYC for the G-Men has other advantages, such as being mentored by the modern-day record-holder for sacks: Michael Strahan. Thibs had this to say about the burgeoning relationship, “So I would say last year, probably fall camp, actually, was when I first had the first Zoom with him, and then I got to meet him. Now, actually seeing him and really talking to him and building that relationship has been dope.”
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. Sacks became an official NFL stat in 1982. Since then, 39 players have recorded 100 or more sacks in their careers, a list that Thibodeaux hopes to see his name on someday. So with that in mind, how many can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
