Frank Gore is hanging 'em up after 16 seasons in the NFL. 

The veteran running back, who turned 39 last month, recently signed a one-day deal with the San Francisco 49ers so he could retire with the franchise that drafted him way back in 2005. Gore was last seen on the field in 2020 as a member of the New York Jets, but recently he's also been trying his hand in other sports as well. Of course, even with this retirement, football fans could still have a Frank Gore to root for on Sundays in the not-so-distant future. As for what comes next for the elder Gore, that is still up in the air, but we're fairly certain his French Bulldogs will be happy that he's able to spend more time with them.

Which brings us to today's quiz of the day.
