It's official: LeBron James is the NBA's all-time leading scorer. 

Late in the third quarter of Tuesday night's matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder, LeBron hit a fadeaway jumper near the top of the key to pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and sit atop the career scoring list. The game was stopped to celebrate the historical achievement, which included Kareem and LeBron sharing a nice moment at center court alongside commissioner Adam Silver. The tributes and shoutouts poured in as LeBron took the mic to thank the Crypto.com crowd. Of course, this all came in a loss for the Lakers, another setback as they try to claw their way to the postseason. But that is for another night. Tuesday was all about the King and his remarkable and unprecedented 20-plus-year career.
