DeAndre Hopkins' time in the desert has come to an abrupt end. 

Last week, the Arizona Cardinals made a surprising announcement that they had decided to simply cut the 30-year-old instead of working out a trade that would have sent him another team. The move sent minor shockwaves through the NFL, as many around the league assumed the Cards could have gotten something for the three-time All-Pro wideout. But it was reported that only two teams had 'substantive trade talks' regarding Hopkins, so now the 10-year veteran finds himself on the free agent market for the first time in his professional career. And given that now it will only cost money and not draft or player capital to secure his services, expect him to have a few choices when it comes to where he will call home come September.
