Overlooking the sparkling seaside harbor of Oak Bluffs, the largest marina on the island of Martha's Vineyard, Summercamp evokes the pleasant nostalgia of childhood summertime fun. Formerly the Wesley Hotel, this new incarnation is designed as a nod to Oak Bluff's history as a summer "camp" destination for the Methodist Church in a photogenic community of historic gingerbread cottages. Although the building itself retains its original Victorian bones. the interior pays homage to American 1950s vacation ideals with bright colors, games and a Camp Canteen selling classic snacks of bygone days. There is really no better place to relive like a child again.
