Today's Quiz: The 'No. 1 overall pick in the MLB Draft' quiz

The 2023 MLB Draft took place over All-Star weekend, and history was made when two teammates from College World Series champion LSU became the first prospects from the same school to go No. 1 and No. 2 overall. With the first overall selection, the Pittsburgh Pirates drafted Paul Skenes, whom many feel is one of the best pitching prospects the draft has ever seen. Skenes had a banner year in Baton Rouge, winning numerous awards, including CWS MOP and the Dick Howser Trophy. One award Skenes did not win was the Golden Spikes Award, given to the best amateur player in the U.S. That went to Dylan Crews, Skenes' teammate who was selected No. 2 by the Washington Nationals and described by his manager at LSU as a "more athletic Kirby Puckett." Time will tell if these prognostications come true, but for now, the sky is the limit for Skenes and Crews.

Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. MLB has been holding its annual draft since 1965. Over that period, many of the No. 1 overall selections have gone on to have illustrious careers, while others have been complete busts. So with that in mind, how many of them can you name in eight minutes?

Good luck!
