Damian Lillard may have been hoping to spend the summer in South Beach. He may have to wait a bit longer.
Earlier this week, Portland general manager Joe Cronin was asked about a time frame regarding a possible Lillard trade, to which he replied, "If it takes months, it takes months.” That may not be the news anyone following the various reports and rumors wants to hear, but it's the correct stance for Cronin to take. Lillard and his agent have made it known that he only wants to play for one team — the Miami Heat — but Lillard does not have a no-trade clause. He may have a lot of leverage, but the Blazers are not obligated to accommodate his wishes. It's a complicated, dicey situation and one that may not come to a head any time soon.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. How many of the NBA players who have made the most three-pointers for every team, as Lillard has done for the Blazers, can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
