It's been over a decade since any position other than quarterback has won the NFL MVP, but through four weeks, Christian McCaffrey is doing everything he can to buck that trend. The 27-year-old veteran currently leads the NFL in rushing yards, total yards from scrimmage and total touchdowns, all for a team that is one of the two remaining undefeated squads in the league. Niners offensive tackle Trent Williams would like to see his teammate take home the hardware. "Hey, all of them streaks come to an end eventually, right? This might be the year. I can see it." If McCaffrey can keep up this pace all year, it will be easy for the rest of us to see it as well.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. Throughout NFL history, only 21 players who were not quarterbacks have taken home the NFL MVP Award, a list McCaffrey could be on at season's end. So with that in mind, how many of the 21 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
