With both teams headed for picks at or near the top of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals and Chicago Bears will have some tough decisions to make in the coming months regarding their incumbent quarterbacks.
For the Cardinals, things may be a bit simpler, with head coach Jonathan Gannon already publicly stating that "'Number 1' is our franchise quarterback." Of course, the same was said about Murray's predecessor during his draft cycle.
For Chicago, it's a bit more complicated. They've secured the No. 1 overall pick in the draft thanks to Carolina, but incumbent QB Justin Fields has looked great down the stretch. His teammates seem to love him, but he could also bring back even more draft capital for Chicago in a trade, something the rebuilding Bears could definitely use. Chicago's position is an envious one to be in, but it's also one where if they make the wrong choice, it could set the franchise back years. Stay tuned.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. Since the year 2000, a total of 69 quarterbacks have been selected in the first round of the annual NFL Draft, including both the aforementioned Murray and Fields. So with that in mind, how many of the 69 can you name in six minutes?
Good luck!
