Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid are widely considered to be the two best players in the NBA, having combined to win the last three MVP awards. The two squared off on Tuesday night in Philly, with Embiid's Sixers squad coming out ahead by a score of 126-121. But all anyone wanted to discuss after the game was what Embiid whispered into the ear of Jokic postgame.
“I just told him he’s the best player in the league. He won a championship, and that [Nuggets] is the best team in the league. He’s the Finals MVP, and I just told him, ‘Keep going, keep doing your thing – that’s why you’re the best in the league.’”
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. One thing Embiid has accomplished that Jokic has not is winning the NBA scoring title, which he has done twice now. So with that in mind, how many of the NBA scoring champions since the NBA/ABA merger can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
