Following three turbulent seasons in New England, Mac Jones will have a new home in 2024.
On Sunday, the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jones' hometown team, announced that they would acquire the 25-year-old former Pro Bowler. As compensation, a sixth-round pick will reportedly be headed back to the Patriots. Jones was a revelation as a rookie, but inconsistent play, along with some highly curious coaching decisions, plagued his final two seasons in Foxborough. Now, he will get a fresh start, albeit as an understudy to Trevor Lawrence. Perhaps head coach Doug Pederson can work his backup QB magic one more time?
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. Jones' 22 TD passes in 2021 tied New England's rookie record. So, with that in mind, how many of the QBs with the most passing touchdowns as a rookie for every NFL franchise can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
