The 2024 NBA Finals tip off on Thursday, and one of the biggest stories is the return to form of Kyrie Irving. Before the trade that brought him to the Dallas Mavericks, Irving's career was in a tailspin. But now that he has gotten thing back on track, he looks as good as ever, and one former prominent teammate had nothing but praise for the 32-year-old point guard.
"There was nothing on the basketball floor that Kyrie couldn't do," said LeBron James. "And sitting here watching it, I'm like so [expletive] happy and so proud to watch him continue his growth. At the same time, I'm so [expletive] mad that I am not his running mate anymore [laughs]."
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. When they were running mates in Cleveland in 2016, LeBron and Kyrie combined for nearly 400 points during the Finals against Golden State. So with that in mind, how many of the players to score the most points in a single NBA Finals series can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
