The Boston Celtics are one win away from an NBA championship. 

Boston dispatched the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 106-99 to get one step closer to the title. The Celtics' two stars led the way with Jayson Tatum going for 31-6-5 and Jaylen Brown putting up 30-8-8. 

The Celtics' stifling defense forced Luka Doncic to shoot a rough 11-of-27 on the night and Kyrie Irving's 35 points were not enough to get Dallas over the hump. With a commanding 3-0 series lead, the Celtics are in a prime position to win their 18th title in franchise history and first since 2008. 

Jaylen Brown has been a revelation this playoffs and is a heavy favorite to take home the NBA Finals MVP. In the finals, Brown has averaged a sublime 24.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game while shooting 55.1 percent from the field, playing ball-hawking defense and throwing down an occasional highlight-reel dunk. Not too shabby.
