The New York Yankees currently hold a small lead over the Baltimore Orioles in the AL East, and on Wednesday, they are getting a massive boost to their starting rotation as reigning AL Cy Young Award winner Gerrit Cole is set to make his 2024 debut. Elbow discomfort discovered during spring training gave Cole and the Bronx Bombers a legitimate scare, but the 33-year-old ace was able to avoid surgery and now will try and get the Yanks back to the postseason after missing out last year for the first time in six seasons.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. New York may have struggled last season, but Cole did not, taking home his first Cy Young Award. So with that in mind, how many of the last Cy Young winners for every MLB franchise can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
