The MLB All-Star break is (thankfully) nearly over. As teams get set to start the second "half" of the season on Friday, this is a great time to take a look at some live win totals for the rest of the year. Let's lock in our two favorite win totals for a fun sweat down the stretch.
We totally love these MLB win totals
Texas Rangers over 81.5 wins (+102 FanDuel)
The Rangers looked like they needed a Gatorade and a greasy breakfast sandwich at the beginning of the year as they fought through their World Series hangover. The reigning champs were 39-48 through 87 games, but they won seven of their last nine heading into the All-Star break. They have a good chance to keep that momentum rolling in the second half.
Texas has the fourth-easiest remaining schedule in MLB, according to Tankathon. The Rangers get to play the dreadful Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Angels seven more times, as well as the Oakland Athletics six more times. Max Scherzer is only going to get better as the season goes on, too, so this team is primed for a second-half push.
Miami Marlins under 59.5 wins (-115 DraftKings)
Whereas the Rangers have a friendly schedule for the second half of the season, the Marlins are facing a gauntlet the rest of the way. Miami has the third-toughest remaining schedule in the league, as it still has to face the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves a combined 13 more times.
The Marlins haven't been good against the best teams in the league this season. They went 20-41 against teams with winning records before the All-Star break, so they're not built to handle a tough schedule down the stretch. Miami will also look to give its young talent more experience since it won't be competing for a playoff spot in 2024.

Caitlin Clark breaks WNBA record with 19 assists against Wings — Clark's historic rookie season continues to get more impressive by the day. On Wednesday night, the Indiana Fever star dished out 19 assists to set a WNBA single-game record in a 101-93 loss to the Dallas Wings. Clark finished the game with 24 points on 10-of-19 shooting. She scored or assisted on 66 points for Indiana, which also set a WNBA record. Clark is now a massive -2000 favorite to win Rookie of the Year.
Bronny James bounces back with best summer league performance yet — James got off to a terrible start in the NBA Summer League. The second-round pick began his pro career going 7-of-31 (22.6 percent) from the field and 0-of-15 from three, but he showed some encouraging signs in Wednesday night's 87-86 win against the Atlanta Hawks. James scored a Summer League-high 12 points on 5-of-12 shooting and 2-of-5 from deep, as he looked much more confident finishing in traffic and shooting off the dribble. The Los Angeles Lakers rookie is +950 to score 20+ points in any regular-season game this year.
Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy in danger of missing the cut at British Open — Last month's U.S. Open came down to DeChambeau and McIlroy in the end, but both players struggled during a windy first round at the British Open. DeChambeau limped to a 5-over start through his first six holes, and he finished up with a 5-over 76. As for McIlroy, he made two double bogeys in a three-hole stretch and ended up with a 7-over 78. Both players are well outside the cut line as it currently stands. Justin Thomas, after a 3-under 68 in Round 1, is already down to +1000 to win the tournament.
