The Pittsburgh Steelers are heading into training camp this week with plenty of questions, but star pass rusher T.J. Watt isn’t one of them.
Since getting drafted in 2017, Watt has earned All-Pro distinction four times, was named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 and has led the NFL in sacks in three of his seven seasons (including 2023 with 19). But the stat that shows Watt’s value to the team most clearly is their 1-10 record in games without him, compared to 69-33-2 with him. With a brand new offense coming to Pittsburgh, head coach Mike Tomlin will need Watt to provide leadership and stability as well as production.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Watt will likely join the 100-sack club at some point early in 2024, with 96.5 heading into the season. With that being said, can you name NFL players with the most sacks since 2014?
