There were concerns about Team USA men’s basketball team heading into the Paris Olympics after it eked out wins in some shaky performances in five Olympic warm up games. With more nations producing elite NBA talent, there were some who were worried the rest of the world may be catching up to the U.S. But led by Kevin Durant’s 23 points off the bench and another 21 from LeBron James, the United States should have eased some minds in a 110-84 dismantling of Nikola Jokic and Serbia. Next up for the Stars and Stripes is a rematch with South Sudan, a team they needed a 16-point rally and last-second layup from James to beat in a friendly on July 20.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Every country competing for the men’s basketball gold medal has at least one player who appeared in the NBA last season. Can you name every player to play in the NBA last year and represent their country at the Olympics?
Good luck!
