When Team USA blew past Brazil in the Olympic quarterfinals on Tuesday, Kevin Durant set history by passing Lisa Leslie for the all-time scoring record for an American at the Olympics. After the U.S. stormed back in the second half to win their rematch with Serbia, Durant now has a chance to make Olympic history again on Saturday as the only player in men’s basketball history to win four gold medals. In Team USA’s Olympic opener against Nikola Jokic and Serbia, Durant scored 23 points off the bench, shooting 5-for-5 from deep en route to a 110-84 victory. He wasn't as explosive or efficient in the rematch, but did score seven of his nine points in the fourth quarter as the American's dug themselves out of a 13-point hole to advance to the Gold Medal game.
This brings us to today’s quiz. Team USA has missed out on the top spot on the podium just once since 2000, and Durant has only ever won gold. Can you name every Team USA men’s basketball player to win gold at the Summer Olympics since the 2000 Sydney Games?
