Week 1 of the NFL season continues tonight, with Saquon Barkley making his Philadelphia Eagles debut against the Green Bay Packers in the NFL’s first-ever game in Brazil. Heading into the game at Arenas Corinthians in Sao Paulo, where there are air-quality concerns due to nearby forest fires, the Eagles shiny new weapon said he’s just excited to get to play. 

“I get to actually put on a jersey,” Barkley said. “I talked about it all offseason how thankful I am for the Eagles organization, top to bottom, for bringing me here. I'm excited to show the fans what we got.”

Barkley is likely looking forward to being part of an offense with other playmakers beside him after shouldering a massive production load during time with the New York Giants.
