You’d be hard pressed to find someone having more fun in the NFL right now than Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield. After getting run out of Cleveland for Deshaun Watson and escaping the dumpster-fire that is the Carolina Panthers, the former No.1 overall pick seems to have found a home in Tampa. His career-bests of 4,044 yards and 28 scores in 2023 earned him a three-year, $100 million contract extension this offseason, and Mayfield rewarded the Buccaneers with 289 passing yards and four touchdowns without an interception to lead Tampa Bay to a Week 1 win over the Washington Commanders. In an NFC South with a lot of uncertainty when it comes to QB’s, Mayfield has the chance to lead Tampa Bay to its fourth consecutive division title.
