It’s been an up-and-down couple of seasons for New York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo thanks to various long-term injuries. But the veteran came through with two critical RBI along with several key defensive plays on Wednesday to help the Yankees clinch a spot in the 2024 MLB playoffs. Rizzo has played strong defense since returning from the injured list this year despite hitting just .219 with 33 RBI and eight home runs in 85 games.
