Ohtani and Harper lead our +801 play of the day

The MLB postseason continues on Tuesday with a pair of NLDS matchups between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets and the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers. With a loaded day of playoff baseball on deck, let's spice it up even more with a juicy Same Game Parlay x on DraftKings.

NLDS SGPx

Leg 1: Mark Vientos 1+ hits

Vientos is coming off a monster game in which he went 3-4 with two home runs. The Mets third baseman is batting .400 and slugging .750 in the playoffs, and he's 1-3 against Aaron Nola in his career. We'll ride the hottest bat in New York's lineup.

Leg 2: Bryce Harper over 0.5 walks

The Mets have no interest in pitching to Harper in this series, especially when there's an open base. Harper has already walked four times in his nine plate appearances in the NLDS. The Mets are going to keep pitching around Harper and making the rest of Philly's lineup prove it can beat them.

Leg 3: Padres @ Dodgers over 0.5 runs first inning

The top of these lineups have a huge advantage over the starting pitchers in this matchup. The top four hitters in San Diego's projected lineup are a combined 20-66 (.303) with four home runs and three doubles against Walker Buehler. On the other side, the top four hitters in Los Angeles' projected lineup are a combined 16-48 (.333) with six homers against Michael King.

Leg 4: Shohei Ohtani over 1.5 total bases

How can we not throw Ohtani into this bet slip? In 14 career at-bats against King, the Dodgers superstar is batting .429 with three home runs and two doubles. Ohtani rose to the moment in Game 1, and he'll need to do so again in a crucial Game 3 to steal back the momentum.

Put it all together, and we get a +801 SGPx on DK. Let's cash!

In the news ...

Chiefs handle Saints to improve to 5-0 — No Isiah Pacheco, no Rashee Rice, no problem for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs smothered the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football, holding them to 220 yards of offense in a 26-13 win. Mahomes threw for 331 passing yards, while new RB1 Kareem Hunt rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown. The 5-0 Chiefs are +450 favorites to win the Super Bowl, and Mahomes is a +330 favorite to win MVP.

Tigers, Royals win on the road to tie respective ALDS series — Monday was a great day for road underdogs in the ALDS, as the Detroit Tigers beat the Cleveland Guardians, 3-0, and Kansas City Royals beat the New York Yankees, 4-2, to bring both series to a 1-1 tie. All four divisional round series are now tied through two games, setting up what should be a thrilling week in the MLB playoffs. The Yankees are +380 favorites to win the World Series.

Aaron Rodgers avoids major injury, should be good to go in Week 6 — When Rodgers went down in pain after getting hit hard in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets fans had flashbacks of last season. Thankfully for them, the future Hall of Famer avoided a major injury. Rodgers suffered a low ankle sprain, but he's expected to suit up when the Jets host the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football next week. New York is +2.5 in the game.

Quick Picks

1 Phillies moneyline first 5 innings

This is about trusting one starting pitcher over the other. Current Mets hitters have a .240 xBA and a .300 xwOBA in 265 plate appearances against Aaron Nola, while Sean Manaea has a 10.66 ERA in four career playoff appearances.

Latest Odds:  -116 FD
2 Walker Buehler under 13.5 outs recorded

Buehler hasn't looked good all season. The Dodgers right-hander ranks in the 16th percentile in xBA (.266), the 20th percentile in xERA (4.68) and the seventh percentile in whiff rate (19.4 percent). You have to believe he'll have a short leash in this matchup, and he hasn't shown he can put together five strong innings against a good lineup.

Latest Odds:  -102 FD
3 Liberty Flames team total over 20.5 first half

Tuesday night college football? Sign us up! Florida International's defense has gotten torched by Indiana, Monmouth and Florida Atlantic. Liberty can be more explosive than each of those teams. We'll protect against the blowout and target the first-half team total.

Latest Odds:  -108 FD
