Kristaps Porzingis made his long-awaited return to the court this week for the Boston Celtics, scoring 16 points, hauling in six rebounds and stuffing two shots in the 126-94 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Porzingis missed the first 17 games of the season due to an ankle issue, but was able to return ahead of his original projection of late December or early January. 

“It was a long rehab, I was itching to get back out there with this team after winning a championship,” Porzingis said after his productive return. “It was a good beginning. A good first game back.”
