As the Los Angeles Rams get ready for their NFC wild-card tilt with the Minnesota Vikings, quarterback Matthew Stafford knows that he’s closer to his final game than his first. But with no more than four games remaining in his 16th season, Stafford said on the Rich Eisen Show he thinks he has more football in him. 

“I don’t want to put a time limit on it, but I definitely think about [retirement] way more now than I did in 2009,” he said. “I’ve got a family and I don’t want to miss too much. But at the same time I feel like I’m playing at a high level and hopefully I can hang around here for a little bit longer.”

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Stafford has lived up to the billing of being the top overall selection in the 2009 draft, finishing the 2024 regular season 10th all-time in both passing yards (59,809) and touchdowns (377).
