Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz isn’t the same Pro Bowl-level player he was during much of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles, but like Travis Kelce in Kansas City, Ertz is proving the postseason value of a big, veteran receiving option. After a quiet wild-card round against Tampa Bay, Ertz caught five balls for 28 yards and a touchdown in Washington’s upset of the top-seeded Detroit Lions. While the numbers aren’t eye-popping, Ertz got some love from former fellow tight end Rob Gronkowski.

“Zach Ertz is a super reliable tight end. He’s underrated,” Gronk said. 

“I would say that Zach Ertz is very decisive in everything that he does. He’s great for 3rd and short and in the red zone and keeps the chains going. It’s huge to have guys like that around a rookie quarterback.”

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Ertz is one of the few players on this Commanders team with experience in the NFC Championship Game, catching eight passes on eight targets for 93 yards in his lone Conference Championship appearance.
