Kevin Durant is one of the most polarizing personalities in the NBA – but one thing that nobody can dispute is his place amongst the great scorers in basketball history. Durant entered the illustrious 30,000-point club with a third-quarter free throw in a 119-112 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies to join names like LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain.
“It’s a true honor to be in the same category as those players who helped shape the game and pushed the game forward,” Durant said of his achievement. “It’s always been my goal to get the most out of myself everyday and the most out of my career. To be mentioned with those guys, I must be doing something right.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. It takes scoring in bunches for a sustained period of time to rack up the amount of points Durant has in his NBA career. With that being said, how many of the players with the most 30-point games in the three-point era (since 1979-80) can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
