After losing Brock Purdy to shoulder and toe injuries in their Week 1 win over Seattle, the San Francisco 49ers survived their Week 2 clash against New Orleans with backup Mac Jones under center. 

Purdy was originally expected to miss between two and five weeks, but head coach Kyle Shanahan gave a surprising update on his QB1’s potential availability for Week 3 against division-rival Arizona. 

“He wasn’t limited in practice last week. He has a chance to play,” Shanahan said. 

Purdy completed 26-of-35 passes for 277 yards, two touchdowns but two interceptions in Week 1 against the Seahawks, while Jones more than held his own against the Saints with 279 yards and three passing touchdowns. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Despite injuries derailing most of the 49ers plans in 2024, Purdy still threw for 3,864 yards and 20 touchdowns in his second full season as the starting quarterback for San Francisco.
