Despite plenty of parity in the SEC this football season, the conference championship will be decided by two familiar faces – Georgia (11-1) vs. Alabama (10-2). The pair are no strangers to facing off on the biggest stages in college football, meeting in the SEC title game for the fifth time since 2012.

Historically, Alabama has had the upper hand in these matchups. Georgia hasn’t won any of the four SEC title clashes with the Crimson Tide and also lost the 2018 College Football Playoff championship to them as well. While Georgia would get national title revenge over Alabama in 2022, that is the only win for the Bulldogs over the tide since 2007.
