While Sanders is known for playing both football and baseball professionally, he was better on the gridiron than the diamond. 

"Prime Time," or "Coach Prime," played in 14 NFL seasons, making eight Pro Bowls, six All-Pro designations, the 1994 AP Defensive Player of the Year winner and two Super Bowls en route to a spot in Canton.  

In his DPOY campaign he intercepted six passes, returning three for touchdowns.
