Four-year veteran defensive tackle Arnold Ebiketie signed a new contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. Ebiketie, a former second-round pick, spent the entirety of his career with the Atlanta Falcons. Ebiketie will head to Philadelphia after agreeing to a one-year deal worth up to $7.3 million.

The 2025 season was another solid campaign for the rotational edge defender. Appearing in all 17 games while making three starts, Ebiketie finished the season with two sacks, 36 tackles, five tackles-for-loss, six quarterback hits, and a career-best 74.9 PFF grade, the 27th-best mark out of 119 eligible players. Despite his play, the Falcons missed the playoffs with an 8-9 record and fired head coach Raheem Morris following the disappointing campaign.

Arnold Ebiketie originally entered the league as a second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Selected by the Atlanta Falcons, the Penn State product began his career as a situational pass rusher. Appearing in 16 games while making one start, the rookie finished his inaugural campaign with 2.5 sacks, 30 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, 11 quarterback hits, two forced fumbles, and a 64.5 PFF grade.

Ediketie earned a larger role in Year 2, appearing in all 17 games while making six starts. He made the most of the extended playing time, finishing the season with six sacks, 25 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, 12 quarterback hits, and a 61.4 PFF grade. Once again, his solid play wasn’t enough for the Falcons to reach the postseason, and the team fired head coach Arthur Smith after the season.

Raheem Morris took over in 2024, and Ebiketie put up a similar season under the new coaching staff. In total, the pass rusher recorded six sacks, 38 tackles, six tackles-for-loss, and 12 quarterback hits in 17 games (two starts).

Since signing his rookie contract, Arnold Ebiketie has appeared in 67 games while making 12 starts. While on the field, the Penn State product has recorded 16.5 sacks, 129 tackles, 17 tackles-for-loss, 41 quarterback hits, and four forced fumbles. He has yet to reach the postseason or play on a team with a winning record.
