2025 Dallas Cowboys training camp dates announced, full list of every open practice, and preseason games

Dallas Cowboys football is almost back! The team announced its official training camp dates on Wednesday as it gears up to travel to Oxnard, California.

The Cowboys will remain there from July 22 to August 13.

Listed below are the key dates as well as the full 2025 Cowboys practice schedule in Oxnard. Most practices in California are open to the public.

Key dates for Cowboys Training Camp

July 22: First practice (11:30 a.m. PDT)
July 26: Opening Ceremony (11:15 a.m. PDT)
July 27: First padded practice (11:45 a.m. PDT)
July 31: Heroes Appreciation Day (11:45 a.m. PDT practice)
Aug. 5: Joint practice with L.A. Rams (2:00 p.m. PDT)
Aug. 13: Last open practice for fans in Oxnard (11:45 a.m. PDT)

2025 Cowboys preseason schedule

Just like we care about practice days and times, here's a quick reminder of what the Cowboys preseason will look like.

Saturday, Aug. 9: @ Los Angeles Rams
Saturday, Aug. 16: vs Baltimore Ravens
Friday, Aug. 22: vs Atlanta Falcons

This will be a crucial year to follow training camp closely as the Cowboys have a new head coach in town. Brian Schottenheimer became the tenth HC in franchise history in January when he was promoted from offensive coordinator to the top spot on the staff.
