Here’s a look at the 2025 NFL Draft order after the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
As the draft order continues to firm up, fans are wondering who will be the No. 1 overall pick. Because the Titans have the No. 1 pick and need a quarterback, they will likely take Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders. NFL Draft analyst Jordan Reid released his latest mock draft last week and has the Titans taking Ward.
“His combination of arm power, creativity and a shortstop-like throwing motion make him an electric playmaker,” Reid wrote. “He can also beat you deep, as his 29 completions on passes of 20-plus air yards were the seventh most nationally. Ward threw for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions for the Hurricanes this season while also rushing for four touchdowns.”
Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports also believes the Titans will select Cam Ward. “Teams had a late Day 2/Day 3 grade on him over the summer, but he’s made big strides this season; he’s playing more from the pocket, he’s getting the ball out on time, and he’s doing a better job of getting through his reads,” Wilson wrote. “We know about the athleticism and arm strength, but he’s gotten better each year he’s been in college, too.”
