The 2025 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and we've got you covered with in-depth scouting reports on all of the top prospects at every position in this year's class.
Here's everything you need to know about LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell heading into the 2025 draft:
Height: 6-6
Weight: 323
Age: 21
A fantastic athlete for his size, Campbell’s movement skills are rare for someone with his massive frame. He’s explosive out of his stance as both a run blocker and a pass protector, getting to his landmarks quickly and rarely getting beaten around the arc by speed rushers. His balance and agility allow him to climb to the second level with ease, and make him an effective blocker when lining up moving targets. He’s got enough power to anchor against power rushers and reset the line of scrimmage in the ground game, and he’s got plenty of experience against top talent in the SEC.
For all his athletic gifts, Campbell is still fairly raw when it comes to the finer points of playing his position. His technique can be wildly inconsistent at times, as it’s clear he’s trying to beat his opponent more with his talent and physical traits rather than technical prowess. This can give more experienced defenders an advantage, as they set him up with more advanced moves and counters to disengage from his blocks. He needs to play with more consistent balance and leverage, not overextending and reaching when he doesn’t keep his feet under him.

He still needs some polish, but Campbell spent the entire 2024 season at just 20 years old, so that’s to be expected from one of the younger prospects in this class. You can’t teach the raw talent and physical traits he brings to the table, and NFL coaches should be able to smooth out the rough edges in his game and make the most of his rare abilities.
