2025 NFL Draft – Top 17 Offensive Linemen
Scott Kinser-Imagn Images

The trenches are the keys to building a winning program, be it in college or at the professional level. You win the trenches, you set yourself up for success throughout the season. Dante Hall also agrees with me, stating one time “Defensive and offensive linemen control the game, and true sports fans know that.“

This season we’ve seen some strong players along the offensive line, and I have my top 17 as of today at least. My total list is at 148 potential draftable offensive linemen heading into the 2025 NFL Draft but at this point, I feel really strong about these top 17 making it to the NFL.

Top 17 Offensive Linemen: My Thoughts So Far

There are plenty of linemen I think will potentially get into my top 20, but I just didn’t feel comfortable locking them in just yet. The top 5 are really strong players who seem like day 1 starters to me. They have great size/speed/athletic combinations that project well to the next level, with Will Campbell and Banks projecting to be starting tackles in my mind.

After my top 5, you’d expect a couple of Georgia linemen to go high, they’ve done a good job so far this season (PFF grades out their efficiency well). I like Ersery from Minnesota, he’s a mountain of a man who grades out better as a pass blocker currently but his size could make him an intriguing guard prospect at the next level.

Ohio State’s line is in the top 30 if you look at the grades, but Jackson and Simmons are two players who have looked strong at the point of attack, and I could see them being drafted on day two of the NFL Draft. They’ve only faced Akron and Western Michigan, so they will have some BIG challenges this season.

NOTE: If you’re looking for some more in-depth player profiles, there are some great sites out there like NFL Draft Buzz that do a great job profiling the player’s back story as well as some stats and current information.
