The 2025 NFL schedule is here, and the Carolina Panthers now have their official slate for the coming season. Their opponents, game times and TV networks have been released.
After spending many years as one of the top, more consistent teams in the NFC, the Panthers have been floundering over the past couple of seasons. However, they showed some signs of life in 2024, recovering nicely after a disastrous start to the season.
Bryce Young and Dave Canales are leading the charge. Will they be able to do enough to return Carolina to being a competitive franchise year after year? Check out their order of operations below, as the NFL has charted the Panthers’ course for them.

The Panthers started the 2024 season 1-7. That had many fans wondering whether Dave Canales would be one and done as a head coach in the NFL, and whether it was time to move on from former first overall pick quarterback Bryce Young.
Then, something began to click for Carolina. They notched back-to-back wins over the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants, and they finished the season with promise. The Panthers clawed back to 5-12, ending their year with a huge overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons on the road.
One thing is for sure, the Panthers will need to start the season strong, unlike 2024. If they can build up a cushion as they work out their kinks over the course of the first couple of weeks, Carolina could be in solid shape to make a run at the playoffs. Most people aren’t expecting it outside of North Carolina, but the fan base is as starved for success as any in the sport.
It’s certainly easier said than done, but the NFC South is a division ripe for the taking. Could Bryce Young lead the Panthers on a surprise run in 2025? He was already counted out once and returned with a vengeance. We’ll see what he has for an encore this time around.
