The Baltimore Ravens are a team flooded with players worthy of appearing on the NFL Top 100. The list’s reveal kicked off on Monday, and 100 to 97 were unveiled. Among those were Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey, Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Leonard Williams, Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones, and Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London.
These are some of the most consistently dominant players in the league week-to-week, and it will be hard for all nine of the Ravens' 2024 Pro Bowlers to find a spot on the list. However, Baltimore could dominate the list. They are one of the league’s most elite teams and the organization has the respect of players across the NFL. Here are two bold predictions for the Ravens on this year’s iteration of the NFL Top 100.
The Ravens could set records on this year’s NFL Top 100. The San Francisco 49ers have the record for most players in a Top 100 with nine in 2024, and although they may fall short of breaking that mark, they have a tremendous chance to top the NFL on 2025’s list.
There are nine or more players who are worthy of the prestigious rankings. Many Ravens are seemingly guaranteed a spot. On the offensive side, it is two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, lethal running back Derrick Henry, and elite center Tyler Linderbaum. On the defense, do-it-all safety Kyle Hamilton, All-Pro corner Marlon Humphrey, and three-time Pro Bowl linebacker Roquan Smith should return to the list.
Other candidates include fierce defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike, blind side protector Ronnie Stanley, and Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers. Of those, Madubuike, despite a down year statistically, should remain in the top 100 after placing 61st in 2024. Stanley also returned to form as one of the better left tackles in football last season and earned a Pro Bowl nod, which could help him sneak in. After seeing McConkey and London revealed earlier in the week, there is a chance Flowers could join them.
Jackson and Henry are the two names who could, and probably should, crack the top 10. Jackson had another MVP-worthy campaign, and Henry torched defenses in his debut campaign with the Ravens. It was one of the most dangerous duos the league has ever seen, and with the two, Baltimore could claim one-fifth of the top 10.
The team’s signal caller is a shoo-in for a top-three spot after last year. He put up one of the best single-season campaigns by a quarterback ever. His 45 touchdowns and over 5,000 total yards were MVP numbers, but Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen took home the award. Regardless, Jackson might be the favorite for the number-one spot.
As for Henry, after a down year for his standards in 2023, the 31-year-old bounced back for a 1,921-yard and 16-touchdown season. He rivaled Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley all year for the rushing title, which Barkley eventually won, taking Offensive Player of the Year in the process. With all the other talent in the league at more premier positions like quarterback and edge rusher, it could be difficult for Henry to make the top 10, but with his prowess, it is certainly possible.
While the Top 100 can be an inconsistent list for ranking the league’s best players–snubbing some and ranking others too high or low–it showcases which players are most respected by their counterparts, and the Ravens should have many representatives.
