3 Potential Will Levis Landing Spots After Titans Release

Of course, the Titans selected Levis 33rd overall in the 2023 draft and he went on to start 21 games over the 2023 and 2024 seasons, recording 3,899 passing yards and 21 passing touchdowns to go along with 16 interceptions.

Levis was replaced last season by Cam Ward, whom Tennessee selected first overall in the 2025 draft. With Ward set to be the starter once again in 2026, the Titans elected to release Levis with Mitchell Trubisky set to serve as Ward’s backup.

With Levis looking for a new home in free agency, the 27-year-old could draw interest from multiple teams around the NFL in need of depth at the quarterback position. 

Here are three teams that could be potential landing spots for him.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars could be a potential fit for Levis despite recently adding a new backup for Trevor Lawrence in Quinn Ewers, whom they acquired from the Miami Dolphins.

Despite this, there is a connection between Levis and head coach Liam Coen, who was Levis’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach during his 2021 season at Kentucky.

Because of this, the Jaguars could bring in Levis to add to their depth behind Lawrence, giving Coen the opportunity to coach a quarterback he has had success with in the past.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers could be another potential option for Levis as the team and head coach Matt LaFleur already have a history of turning around a former Titans quarterback.

Of course, that would be Malik Willis as the former Titans third-round pick developed into one of the top backups in the NFL during his time in Green Bay before signing with the Dolphins to become their new starter in the offseason.

LaFleur and the Packers could look to do the same with Levis as they could be able to develop him into a solid backup behind Jordan Love.

New York Jets

The New York Jets could be another potential fit for Levis, especially with the team’s quarterback situation being how it is.

Of course, the Jets have a new starting quarterback in Geno Smith and they have two young backups behind him in Cade Klubnik and Brady Cook.

Because of this, the Jets could look to add Levis due to his experience in Tennessee as he could provide New York with a more proven backup behind Smith.

While these three teams could show interest in adding Levis to their roster before the start of the 2026 regular season, other teams could also pursue the former second-round quarterback.
