49ers 2026 opponents announced

The 2026 opponents for the San Francisco 49ers have been announced. The 49ers finished third in the NFC West and will play a third-place schedule next season. The 49ers will have nine home games and will go on the road eight times. Here are the 2026 opponents:

The NFL schedule won't be released until mid-May. There are reports from 2025 that the 49ers may play one of their home games in Mexico City. The NFL will also play its first-ever game in Rio de Janeiro in 2026. It is unlikely the 49ers will play there instead of Mexico City, but it's a possibility. The NFL will announce the international games in early 2026.
