The San Francisco 49ers announced Friday that linebacker Curtis Robinson has passed his physical and been activated from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list ahead of the team's eighth training camp practice. Robinson had been recovering from the ACL injury he suffered in September 2024.

San Francisco re-signed Robinson to a one-year deal in March, keeping the special teams standout and depth linebacker in the fold.

Robinson (6-3, 235) originally signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford in 2021. He joined the 49ers on December 6, 2021, after being released by Denver.

Last season, Robinson appeared in three games before his injury, contributing primarily on special teams and recording one tackle, per Pro Football Reference. Over his 15 career NFL games, Robinson has registered 10 total tackles and one quarterback hit.

The 27-year-old now looks to compete for a roster spot and carve out a role with the 49ers heading into the 2025 season.
