Monday, August 31:
Waiver wire claims end; practice squads
The claiming period for players placed on waivers during roster cut-downs ends at 10:00 a.m. PT. After this time, and upon notification from the league, teams can begin forming their 17-player practice squads. Additionally, starting at 1:00 p.m. PT, any player placed on the injured reserve or reserve/non-football injury lists may be designated for return later in the season.
