Ricky Pearsall played a key role in the San Francisco 49ers' Week 15 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. The 25-year-old wide receiver caught six passes from quarterback Brock Purdy for a game-high 96 yards, helping lead the Niners to a 37-24 victory over the Titans.

Perasall has played eight games for the Niners this season. During that stretch, the former Florida Gators star has registered 31 receptions for 443 yards, but has yet to score his first touchdown of the season.

The Niners improved to 10-4 after beating the Titans, and are now preparing for a "Monday Night Football" showdown against the Indianapolis Colts for Week 16.

Pearsall has been dealing with multiple injuries of late. The former first-round pick sustained knee and ankle injuries against the Titans, which forced him to sit out practice throughout the week.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke to reporters on Saturday to provide an update on his wide receiver. Unfortunately, the team has ruled Pearsall out officially for Monday’s game against the Colts. Shanahan also announced that Pearsall got "close, but not close enough" to potentially suiting up against Indianapolis, but the team has decided to hold him out after not being able to log a single practice during the week. Pearsall will be left in San Francisco to continue rehabbing his injuries.

With Pearsall sidelined, Kendrick Bourne and Demarcus Robinson are expected to play bigger roles for the Niners as they look to secure their fifth straight win.

It will be a road game for San Francisco, with kickoff from Lucas Oil Stadium scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET.
